MathWorks Fuels JINNOVATE Startups with Advanced Software Access to Accelerate Healthtech Innovation

JERUSALEM – [31 July 2025] – JINNOVATE Center, Jerusalem Innovation Center for HealthTech, today announced a strategic partnership with MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software. This collaboration is set to significantly empower JINNOVATE’s portfolio of early-stage healthtech companies by providing them with free access to MathWorks’ cutting-edge software tools, including MATLAB and Simulink.

Under this new partnership, JINNOVATE’s startups will receive one year of complimentary access to MathWorks’ comprehensive software suite. This includes MATLAB, the essential programming environment for algorithm development, data analysis, visualization, and numeric computation, and Simulink, a powerful block diagram environment for simulation and Model-Based Design. These tools enable engineers and scientists to explore and implement complex designs without the need for extensive low-level coding, dramatically accelerating development cycles.

The direct benefit for JINNOVATE’s innovative startups is immense. This free access to industry-standard tools means they can rapidly prototype, test, and refine their healthtech solutions, from advanced diagnostics to new treatment methodologies. MathWorks will facilitate this through a dedicated online portal, allowing JINNOVATE’s cohorts to register directly for their one-year software licenses. Crucially, MathWorks considers all startups in its accelerator program as full commercial users, ensuring they receive the same high level of technical support as any of MathWorks’ established customers. This commitment to robust support will be invaluable as JINNOVATE’s companies navigate the complexities of healthtech development.

“We are incredibly excited about this partnership with MathWorks,” said Mahmoud Khweis, CEO of JINNOVATE Center. “Providing our startups with direct, free access to MATLAB and Simulink, along with MathWorks’ renowned technical support, is a game-changer. It will significantly accelerate their R&D capabilities, allowing them to bring revolutionary health solutions to market faster and more efficiently. This collaboration truly embodies our mission to empower healthtech innovation from Jerusalem.”

“MathWorks is committed to supporting the global startup ecosystem, and we are particularly thrilled to partner with JINNOVATE to foster innovation in the vital healthtech sector,” stated by David Rich, Director of MathWorks. “We believe that providing early-stage companies with our powerful tools and dedicated support is key to helping them transform their groundbreaking ideas into impactful realities that can revolutionize patient care worldwide.”
