JINNOVATE Hosts International Journalists Delegation to Showcase Jerusalem's HealthTech Innovation and East Jerusalem Employment Initiatives

Jerusalem – March 18, 2025 – JINNOVATE, a leading hub for health technology innovation in Jerusalem, today welcomed a delegation of international journalists from prominent media outlets, including The Guardian/BBC, Congressional Quarterly (CQ)/Roll Call, Daily Mail, Daily Express, European Institute of Public Administration, El Observador España, European Conservative, Henrik Beckheim Podcast, Der Tagesspiegel, Diário de Notícias, El Debate, Henrik Beckheim Podcast, IL GIORNALE, Il Messaggero, Krone Verlag, LA RAZÓN, Quillette, SKYTG24, Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Table Briefings, The Free Press, THE OBJECTIVE, The Washington Times, Toronto Sun and others, as part of a press trip organized in collaboration with the American Middle East Press Association American Middle East Press Association (AMEPA)

The delegation, comprising journalists from a diverse range of publications, participated in a comprehensive program designed to highlight JINNOVATE's pivotal role in fostering groundbreaking advancements in the healthtech sector and its broader impact on the East Jerusalem community.

The event, led by JINNOVATE CEO/Director Mahmoud Khweis, featured a facility tour, an overview of JINNOVATE's mission and vision, and presentations on key programs and initiatives. Jafar Mahfouz, CTO at JINNOVATE, and Rana Al Qawasmi, Programs Manager at JINNOVATE, presented a detailed overview of JINNOVATE's work and achievements over the past year, highlighting key programs and initiatives. Startup companies incubated at JINNOVATE, including Healers Medical Devices, For Better Vision, Line of Sight Ayman Zaghal, and Heart Guard Marwan Asali, showcased their innovative technologies through demonstrations and interactive sessions

A key highlight of the event was a presentation by Waad Khader, Manager at EasTech East Jerusalem, who explained the services EasTech provides and its significant impact in promoting employment opportunities within East Jerusalem. This underscored JINNOVATE's commitment to supporting not only technological innovation but also economic development within the region.
